Schedule released for Causeway Bay SC Jr. Men's ch'ship in Summerside

SCHEDULE RELEASED FOR 2007 JR MEN'S SOFTBALL CANADA ch'ship
SUMMERSIDE - The Host Committee for the 2007 Causeway Bay Softball Canada Jr. Men’s Fast Pitch Championships and the City of Summerside have released the Official Schedule for this year’s event.
All games will be played at Queen Elizabeth Park from August 5th through 12th.
Defending champions Kelly's Pub Canadians from Newfoundland and Labrador, led by veteran Mark Lewis, will be back to defend their championship.
The host Greco/Source for Sports Twins will carry Prince Edward Island’s colors. Other confirmed teams are from Saskatoon (SK), Miramichi (NB) and East Hants (NS).
Three teams from Ontario will participate and will be named shortly as will the team representing Quebec.
Tournament passes are currently on sale at the Summerside Wellness Centre daily. For more information please call 432-1282.

2007 Softball Nationals to be Webcast
SUMMERSIDE -- Tournament Director Paul Gallant and Operations Supervisor Alex Whalen jointly announce that the 2007 Causeway Bay Softball Canada Junior Men's Championships will be broadcast live on the world wide web.
The internet broadcast is being provided by Aliant, the tournament's technical partner and will enable live coverage of tournament games to listeners across Canada and around the world.
Jackson Doughart, a broadcaster from Summerside, will provide play-by-play commentary for over 20 games from the tournament. Doughart broadcast the national midget boys baseball championships, held in Summerside last year, and looks forward to partnering with the City of Summerside and Aliant to provide this service.
To listen to the games, a computer with a sound card, speakers, and an internet connection is required. Broadcast games will be available via a link on the tournament website, www.2007jrmensfastpitch.com and on www.aliant.net.
