Hunter’s Ale House Fawcetts of Prince Edward Island scored in the ninth inning Tuesday to break a tie and edge Grumpy Stump of Newfoundland and Labrador at the Labatt 2007 Senior Men’s Canadian Fast Pitch Championships at the Caribou Memorial Complex in St. John’s, NL.
            The teams exchanged runs in several innings to generate the 4-4 tie after seven innings and both teams scored once in the eighth.
            Grant Patterson and Mike Bishop combined for the victory while Sean Cleary and Robbie Green pitched for the losers with the loss tagged on Green.
            Veteran outfielder Joe Fagan had two back-to-back home runs for Grumpy Stump who got two hits from Keith Coady. Kelly Wenstrom collected three hits for the winners.
