Dragons Win Inaugural NAFA Wood Bat World Series

The Dragons (Englewood, Colo) defeated the Warriors (Frederick, Colo) twice to claim the inaugural NAFA Wood Bat World Series title Sunday evening at the Garden Acres Sports Complex in Longmont, Colorado.
The Warriors dropped the Dragons into the Losers' Bracket earlier in the day with a 2-0 victory in the Winners Bracket final.
The Dragons downed the Colorado Rage (Brighton, Colo) 3-1 in the Third Place game to advance to the final.
There, they downed the Warriors 6-0 and then 3-0.
The Dragons' Chris Hooper was named the Most Valuable Player, with teammate Nate Miller earning Most Valuable Pitcher honors.
