REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED FOR GET IN THE GAMESYMPOSIUM
NORTH YORK, ONTARIO –Due to overwhelming demand, Softball Ontario is pleased to announce that wewill be extending the registration deadline for the Get In The Game Symposiumuntil Friday February 15, 2008. The Get In The Game Symposium isdesigned to bring Softball Association Executives together to learn from eachother’s experience and develop new ways to promote softball in Ontario. Topicsdiscussed will include coaching, recruiting and retaining house leagueumpires, select softball, modifying the game to have fun, a presentation bythe Ontario Trillium Foundation, and much more!
The 2007 Get In The GameSymposium saw nearly one-hundred (100) participants representing approximatelyforty-five (45) Softball Associations from all over Ontario gather at theSports Alliance Building to discuss the success of Softball in theprovince. A recap of the 2007 Symposium is available at www.softballontario.ca. Eventattendees for the 2008 Get In The Game Symposium have the opportunity to havea voice in the development of grassroots softball in the province, while atthe same time learning how to better their own association.
All SoftballAssociations in Ontario are encouraged to take advantage of the new FridayFebruary 15, 2008 deadline and register representatives from theirAssociation.

Each Participant will receive a delegate bag containing freepromotional materials and information from Softball Ontario. Inaddition, an Exhibitor Marketplace will take place during the lunch-hourfeaturing Home Run Sports, Marchant’s School Sport, HighFive®, and more!
Travel (mileage) and accommodations will be provided by SoftballOntario for those who qualify. Participants in the Symposium mustregister with Lisa Crompton at Softball Ontario before February 15, 2008.
