In the Midget Boys’ National Softball Championships in Brantford Ontario, the Saskatoon Aspen Selects stayed undefeated with a 5-2 win over Leduc Landmark 747’s. Devon McCullough got the win giving up, only four hits and no earned runs. He helped his cause offensively with a pair of hits and two RBI’s . Monty Scherr had two singles and one RBI.. The Selects are 5-0 and alone in first place. Tomorrow they have only one game against at 1:00 against Kingston.

Championships in Brantford Ontario, the Saskatoon Aspen Selects improved their record to 4 wins and no losses with a 7-0 victory this morning over previously undefeated Newmarket Ontario. Devon McCullough and Patrick Burns led the team offensively as they hit the first two homeruns of the whole tournament. Burns held Newmarket to only five hits to get the win. The team’s next action is at 4:00 against Leduc Landmark 747’s.
