22nd Annual World Senior Men's Fastball Tournament : Results

The Cold Springs Cats and the Shakespeare Isotopes are the 2008 World Senior Men's Fastball Tournament Champions, the 28 team tournament took place Labour Day weekend in beautiful North Bay Ontario.
The Cold Springs Cats won the "AA" division championship defeating the Toronto Bingos 4-0 behind the big right arm of pitcher Todd Uhrig, Todd tossed a 1 hit shutout at the Bingos. Todd was named Most Valuable Pitcher in the championship game and teammate Rob Ellis was named Most Valuable Player. Todd Uhrig has taken the Ontario masters scene by storm in 2008, he was dominant in helping the
Waterloo Classics win their first ever Ontario Masters Championship back in July.
The Shakespeare Isotopes won the "A" division championship defeating the Hamilton Stingers 5-1. Roland Williamson was the winning pitcher, Williamson a 45 year old hurler from the Stratford based Shakespeare Isotopes tossed a tidy 4 hitter and picked up the Most
Valuable Pitcher award.
