The Stittsville 56ers prevailed over Ottawa Team Easton to win the 2008 Greater Ottawa Fastball League playoff championship with a 3-1 best-of-five series win.
The 56ers claimed the I4C Consulting trophy emblematic of the GOFL's top team after finishing second in the regular season and knocking off five-time defending champions and regular season first place finisher Team Easton.
Pitcher Dan Bradley led Stittsville with 8-2 record over the playoffs. Dan Konkle of Team Easton had a 6-3 pitching record for the runners-up.
