The Bar of Appleton competed in the Wisconsin NAFA Travel League the past two weekends.  The Bar was without Nick Bittor and pitcher Andrew Blackshaw (both come to America next week) and struggled with numbers as many domestic players had coaching commitments.  The BOA even played a couple of games with eight players; taking the automatic out and putting only two outfielders out to roam. 

The Bar of Appleton still finished 8-2 over the two weekends and defeated the only other ISC ranked team (in Medford on the 16th & 17th Appleton outscored their opponents in five games 48-4).  The team was also forced to have position players pitching at times but the team found a way to score a lot of runs and played pretty good defense for the two weekends. 

The only ISC ranked team the Appleton boys played was against The Bar of Green Bay and Appleton defeated BGB 7-1.
