Re: ISF XII WorldMen’s Softball Championship weather update
As of 10:50 this morning (70 minutes from the semi finalgame between Canada and New Zealand)
The field at BVI is still playable and we expect the game tostart on time. The weather report show that the rain should blow over.
Al's Guesstimate is for a 1pm start
at 12:37pm the grounds crew are doing a major mop up and dumping bags and bags of "Play Ball Quick Dry" on the infield.
Impressive seeing these guys working, two tractors, lots of rakes, and sweat.
Both teams are taking warm ups.
Team Canada is on the 1b side bench and Sean Whitten will start for them.
The Black Sox are on the 3b side and have Marty Grant warming up.
Lots of fans here, my estimate, 5,000 so far.

1pm and we are ready to go - Introductions of the teams and the blue.
