NOTICE OF MEETING There will be a meeting of the Mid Atlantic Fastpitch Travel League (MAFTL) on Saturday November 21, 2009
at AROOGA'S Rt 22 Allentown Blvd., Harrisburg, PA 17112 (get direction from website) www.aroogas.com at 1:00 pm EDT.
A meeting of the officers of the MAFTL will take place at 12:00 pm prior to the regular meeting. There are several orders of business to be conducted at the meeting, including but not limited to the following: number of teams; dates of play; locations to be played; number of weekends; format of play for each weekend; umpiring; cost of participation, among others. It is important that prospective teams and returning teams be represented at this meeting. It is the intention of the Board that these decisions need to be made in a timely manner and that those wanting a say should be there to express their opinions.
In another matter the Board of the MAFTL has been informed by Tom Vogel that he is resigning from his position as President of the league. Tom has been an instrumental part of the continuity and success of the league for many years and we appreciate his service. The Board has determined that Larry Hineline will assume the role of league President until such time as a new election is held. In addition, the Board is happy to announce that Gregg Leather has agreed to become the Vice President of the league
