The MinnDak bats came alive in the tournament opener as they 14 hits in a 18-2, 5-inning winning over LX.
Jason Wandler led the MinnDak offense, going 3-4 with 3 home runs that totaled 6 RBI.
The Millers scored 10 runs in the fourth inning, all with two outs.

Saturday afternoon, MinnDak fell to Townline 4-1, knocking the Millers into the Loser’s Bracket.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, rain delayed the game for 40 minutes.
The Millers would put the games first run on the board in the top of the sixth.
With one out, John Tschida, who reached base on a fielder’s choice, scored on a triple by Tony Kunka.
In their half of the sixth, Townline scored four runs with two outs. Nick Shailes hit a grand slam home run after a MinnDak error extended the inning.

MinnDak’s weekend ended at the hands of Circle Tap, falling 9-0 in 5 innings. Circle Tap jumped out to a 1-0 lead on Chris Delarwelle’s first inning home run.
The game was delayed for over an hour in the bottom of the third inning. When play resumed, Circle Tap would hit a grand slam home run, scoring 6 runs total in the inning.
The Millers were only able to put together four hits off Circle Tap starter Adam Folkard.
