OASA SPRINGBOARD
The Ontario Amateur Softball Association announces a new program for players and coaches to get the ball season started.
Springboard is a one day program of instruction for players ages 8 to 19 and coaches.The morning sessions will be for players 8 to 12 and for coaches of that age group. The afternoon sessions will be for players 13 to 19 and for coaches of that age group. For the players in the morning and afternoon sessions the focus will be on group and individual instruction in hitting, fielding, catching and pitching. The coaches will have sessions on practice organization, drills, hitting and rule interpretations by Softball Ontario umpires.
The instructors for these sessions will be senior players who have played internationally and coaches who have participated at the Canadian Championship level.
There is no cost for the event
There will be 2 locations for the Springboard event:
Napanee Ontario April 17 2010
Kitchener Ontario April 24 2010
Both sessions begin at 8:30am. Players and coaches may pre register by going to the OASA website at www.oasa.ca and clicking on the location they wish to attend.
