Kars wins Greater Ottawa Fastball League title

The Kars Aces won the Greater Ottawa Fastball League playoff title, winning the best-of-three final series two games straight over the Quyon COMBAT Flyers.
Kars won game one 2-1 at the North Gower diamond and game two 6-5 at the Quyon Fairgrounds, with Brad Porter picking up both victories.

The GOFL is an eight team league in eastern Ontario and western Quebec. Other league members are the Stittsville 56ers (2008 and 2009 champs), Carp I4C Victory, Barrhaven Broadway Blues, Ottawa Blitz, North Gower Marlboroughs and Fitzroy Harbour West Carleton Electric.
