SOFTBALL ONTARIO LEVEL III UMPIRE CLINIC
NORTH YORK, ON - Softball Ontario’s Umpire Program is happy to announce they are hosting a Softball Canada Level 3 Umpire clinic in Stratford on April 30- May 1, 2011. This two day course is essential for any Ontario Umpire aspiring to advance in their Umpire career. An action packed course, the Level III clinic may cover topics including pre-game conferences; appeal plays and ejections/removals. Softball Ontario top notch Umpire Instructors will be on hand to instruct these clinics.
In order to attend the Level III Umpire clinic, you must be a full certified Level II Official with a minimum of two (2) years experience as a Level II official. Softball Ontario must recruit a minimum of fifteen (15) participants two (2) weeks prior to the clinic in order to host the 2011 Softball Canada Level III Umpire clinic, so apply today! If the minimum number of participants is not reached by the two week deadline the clinic will be canceled. Softball Ontario will continue to accept applications after the deadline providing the minimum of fifteen (15) participants are registered.

There will be a cancellation fee of $56.50 (including HST) if a participant cancels less than one week before a clinic.
Note: Member means individual is a registered umpire with Softball Ontario is the current year or the in the previous year.
Softball Ontario Mandatory Certification Policy-Effective 2002-all Softball Ontario Umpires must attend a recognized Umpires clinic every two years. Recognized Umpire Clinics
include:
Attend a Softball Ontario Umpire Refresher Clinic
Attend Softball Ontario Instructor Training Weekend
Attend the next highest Umpire Level Clinic in sequence to what the Umpire has already taken
Attend a Softball Canada Blue Convention
Attend a Softball Canada Mechanics School
Re-Take the highest level clinic that you have (a Softball Ontario Level III Umpire may take a Softball Ontario clinic).
Softball Ontario has reserved accommodations for clinic participants at Travelers Motel in Stratford with a room rates:
$80 per room per night (with 2 double beds) + tax or $74 per room per night (with 2 single beds) + tax
