Bracebridge, ON
Bracebridge Mens Fastball League started their 37th season, up here in cottage country with 8 teams in action on first day. Two double headers will be played every Tuesday, and games also to follow on Thursdays and Fridays(except on long wknds). Muskoka Rural Electric will try to defend their 2010 crown as last years A Division Champion, as they rolled through the playoffs undefeated, on the strong arm of Tony Peacock. B Division Champs Lizotte Fuels, hope to carry over their their strong hitting into another solid effort in 2011.
Also, a reminder to the fastball community, that the 2010 OASA Masters Championships will be played at our new Peake Fields complex in Bracebridge on July 15,16 and 17th, along with an invitational tournament on August 26,27th and 28th.
The League encourages all fastball players and fans to visit the new facility this summer, it is truly the new jewel of the north.
See you at the park.
