Andrew Skelton struck out 14 to lead the Scarborough (Ont.) Force to a 6-2 win over Spokane Silverhawks in a loser's bracket game Wednesday in the ISC Tournament in Midland. Blake Underwood had a two-run homer while Jake Taylor added two hits, including a double.
In the complete game win, Skelton allowed three hits and two earned runs.

Dan Martin gave up seven hits over seven innings as the Elmira (Ont.) Erb Electric Expos took a 2-0 victory over Sooke Loggers. Scott Leiph and Richard Haldane were equally as effective for the Loggers as they combined to strike out nine and allow three hits.
The Expos scored in the second on a wild pitch from Leiph, and Martin homered in the fourth for the final run.

Adam Folkard threw a one-hitter while striking out 10 as Hill United took a 1-0 victory over Minnesota Angels. Juan Potoliccio suffered the loss as he gave up just one hit while striking out nine.
The Chiefs scored the game's lone run in the fifth. Ryan Thompson singled, stole second and went to third on a groundout. Jeff Ellsworth's two-out single brought Thompson home.

Ben Enoka and Donnie Hale each drove in three runs to lead the Jarvis Travelers to an 8-1 victory over the Saskatoon Diamondbacks. Brad Rona added a home run while Hale had a two-run homer. Sean Carey went the first four innings to pick up the win as he allowed one earned run, struck out eight and gave up one hit.
