Aussie Colts pitcher, Marshall Kronk lead the way for the Ausse Colts as they pick up their third win of the tournament against Denmark.  The Aussie Colts continue to be on track for top of Pool A at the ISF IX Junior Men’s World Championships in Parana, Argentina.
The Aussie Colts were dominant in their first two games and the game against Denmark was no exception. Â In the three games to date the Aussie Colts have had 31 hits and scored 37 runs. Â The pitchers, lead by Marshall Kronk, have been doing a great job for the team, only allowing 5 hits and 2 runs scored against them.
Head Coach, Gary Butler, again gave Kronk the start against the Danish team, and he promptly struck out eight hitters in 5 innings of work. Â Kronk only allowed 1 hit leaving the Aussie Colts defence minimal work to do. Â
The Australians offensively were displayed in the box against the Danish pitchers, drawing nine walks.  When the team had the opportunity to hit, they were able to hit safely on 8 occasions, scoring 8 runs for a comprehensive win.  Nick O’Shea, Kronk and Aaron Whitefield continue to lead the way for the Aussie Colts each collecting two hits.  Josh Wagner and Liam O’Leary also contributed to their teams hit tally, each picking up a hit each.
The Aussie Colts have yet to complete a full regulation game of seven innings in the tournament so far, but except the match against the NZ Junior Black Sox to go the distance. Â
