Saskatoon Set To Host 2014 Co-op U18 Ladies Canadian Softball Championship

Saskatoon, SK – November 29, 2012 – Saskatoon Sports Tourism and the Saskatoon Amateur Softball Association are excited to announce that Saskatoon will host the 2014 Co-op U18 Ladies Canadian Softball Championship. The Canadian Championship will be hosted at Gordie Howe Park, Bob Van Impe Stadium and Glen Reeve FieldsÂ

“The Saskatoon Amateur Softball Association is very excited to host the 2014 Softball Canada U18 Ladies Canadian Championships with 16 - 20 teams coming to Saskatoon,†said SASA President Bryan Kosteroski. “This event will bring in the top U18 Ladies players from across Canada which will lead to some very exciting games throughout the event.â€

The 2014 Co-op U18 Ladies Canadian Softball Championship will feature 16 to 20 top teams from across Canada competing for the national title.

“The event will be a special week in Saskatoon and Saskatchewan with the Saskatoon Amateur Softball Association celebrating 50 years. There will be special events throughout the week as we remember the past 50 years of softball in Saskatoon.†said SASA President Bryan Kosteroski.
