As players, sponsors, umpires and fans are preparing for the first two fastball tournaments of the year, I wanted to take a few minutes to update you on the tournament that will be held in Jarvis the weekend of June 28th to July 1st.  We are very excited to have seven teams committed as of January 1st.  With the seven teams to date, we are shaping up to have a great field for this years tournament.

 

 

In addition to the seven teams, I am pleased to announce that Peter  Kluszczynski has agreed to come on board as the UIC for this years tournament.  Peter has a great history of being able to assemble a strong umpiring crew for various tournaments across North America.

 

 

Teams that have committed to the Open division as of January 1st are:

Jarvis Travelers (3-time ISC World Champions)

NY Gremlins, Clifton Park, NY (2-time ASA Champions)

Hill United Chiefs, Six Nations, ON

PA Power, Harrisburgh, PA

Scarborough Force, Scarborough, ON

Elmira Expos, Elmira, ON

Perry Island Hawks, Perry Island, ON (2012 ISC II Champions)

In addition to the open division, we will be running a Rec/Intermediate division tournament.  We have received confirmation from three teams as of January 1st.  We are looking for a total of 6 Rec/Intermediate teams but will expand to 8 if needed.

 

 

 

The organizing committee is excited with the progress to date and are planning additional announcements as we head towards spring.
