Peligro Sports Tournament Cup- Cancelled

Dear FastPitch Community,

 

We are sorry to have to inform our friends and fans that we have had to cancel this year’s Peligro Sports Tournament Cup which was due to be held Thursday, July 4^th through Sunday, July 7^th 2013 at Randall’s Island, NY.

 

As many of you are aware, we own a uniform and equipment shop in Washington Heights, NY serving the baseball and softball community.  Recently, we launched an online store: PeligroSportsNYC.com which is rapidly growing and consuming a lot of our time.  The treatment we give our guests for the tournament requires a great amount of time and funds which is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain through new ventures and natural disasters.  While our shop did not suffer any damages via super storm Sandy, it is still unclear how small businesses like ours will be affected as the year progresses.

 

Therefore, on behalf of the Peligro Tournament Cup team, I would like to apologize for the cancellation, especially to those of you who have already made travel and accommodation plans.  Unfortunately, these were circumstances which were beyond our control.  We are seriously considering returning with a stellar cup next year and hope you can join us then.
