Utah Softball Hall of Fame Nomination Deadline

The Utah Softball Hall of Fame Committee has announced a June 1 nomination deadline for new members who will be inducted July 12 at the Larry H. Miller Softball Complex in Salt Lake.

Nomination rules, categories, current members and the 2013 nomination form can be found at http://www.utahsoftballhalloffame.com/, according to Fred Tamagawa, Chairman of Utah Softball Hall of Fame Committee.

The induction ceremony will take place late afternoon of Friday, July 12, just before the first games begin in the return of the very popular Pioneer Days Men’s Fastpitch Tournament.  Details of that tournament will be released over the next few weeks.

 

The overall administration of the Utah Softball Hall of Fame is handled by Salt Lake County Parks & Recreation Dept.  An 8-member committee of former players will review submitted nominations and decide on which nominees will be accepted for 2013 induction.

 

The Master plaque of all current Hall of Fame members is displayed at the Salt Lake County Sports Office – 5201 Murray Park Lane – Murray.  It is in the same building as the Salt Lake County Ice Arena.
