Australian Men's tournament - theswitchMONEYBALL

The tournament will be held in October 2014 at Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. It will be called theswitchMONEYBALL tournament- Open Men's and Over 40's Masters Men's.
 
We are yet to receive confirmation from our authorities here to endorse the specific date but will let you know as soon as this occurs (will be October 2014 though).

That’s right. At theswitchMONEYBALL we are offering $1000 cash to the winner of the inaugural home run contest. One hitter (and pitcher) from each team will be nominated at the team’s discretion. Both Open Men’s and Master’s combined. One hitter taking home one thousand dollars!

We aim to break a few records in hosting this milestone event and this is another example of exactly just how we are going to do that. Never before has a $1000 individual prize purse been on offer in Australia, so this is your chance to prove you are truly the home run king!

• The Ipswich Softball Association have identified the benefits of hosting this world-class event and have committed $4000 to theswitchMONEYBALL! The Ipswich Softball Association has continued to grow over the years (now Queensland’s second largest association) and are excited at the prospect of this weekend.
• theswitchMONEYBALL have met with the Ipswich Events Corporation who have endorsed the event and will kindly be providing assistance and direction with promotion. We look forward to liaising with The Ipswich City Council to brief the Mayor and Councillors and provide a briefing on men’s fastpitch softball.
