North American Fastball Challenge

We are pleased to announce that Jarvis, ON will be holding their 2nd Annual North American Fastball Challenge on the weekend of June 27-29th at the Lions Park in Jarvis. As we did in 2013, we will be running both an Open division and an Intermediate division (intermediate, junior and masters teams). The feedback from teams in 2013 was a great help and we look forward to making 2014 a better event. In 2013, the NY Gremlins defeated the Hill United Chiefs to win the open division and the Kitchener Diamond Jaxx defeated the Selkirk Stealers to win the Intermediate division.

We are looking to run an 8 team open division which would guarantee each team four games. The entry fee for the Open division will be $525.

As of December 15th, we have received emails for their intent to participate from:
Jarvis Hallman Twins, Kitchener ON
Hill United Chiefs, Six Nations ON
Scarborough Force, Scarborough ON
NY Gremlins, Clifton Park NY
Argentina Jr National Team

In addition, we are looking for 6 teams for the Intermediate division which is open to all Intermediate, Junior and Master teams. As of December 15th, we have received intent emails from two teams in the intermediated division. Teams will be guaranteed three games. The entry fee for the Intermediate division will be $425.

Peter Kluszczynski has agreed to look after the umpires and will serve as the UIC for the weekend.
