The 2014 “Jack Cook†OASA Masters “A†& “B†Provincial Championship will take place July 18-20 at the Cambridge Sports Park in Cambridge Ontario located at 1001 Franklin Blvd.

The Host Hotel will once again be the Residence & Conference Center, rooms are $89.95 per night.
The hotel is located at 99 Conestoga Blvd, Kitchener Waterloo right at the 401 and Homer Watson Blvd.

The OASA encourages all teams to stay at the host hotel as they make a contribution to the OASA Scholarship fund.

Two new awards will be handed out at this year’s OASA Masters Championship. The George Ryder award will be given to the Most Valuable Player in the A division, the Bob Abbot award will be given to the Most Valuable Pitcher in the B division. Existing awards that will also be given out are the Cliff Belch award, Most Valuable Pitcher in the A division and the Jack Cook Award given out to a player, manager, or coach in the A or B division who displays leadership, skill and sportsmanship on and off the field.

Teams are reminded that the Affiliation deadline is June 10th., you need to get your $350 affiliation/entry fees in by this date.

Two berths to the newly created Canadian Masters Championship will be up for grabs at this year’s OASA Masters Championship.

Softball Canada has added a special Masters Division to help celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Sr. Men’s Canadian Fast Pitch Championship. The dates for the Canadian Masters Championship are Aug. 28-31 in Charlottetown, PEI.

The Ontario Amateur Softball Association is pleased to welcome the Ontario Masters Fastball Hall of Fame to our Provincial Masters Championship. The OASA is not directly affiliated with the Ontario Masters Fastball Hall of Fame but supports their cause.

The Ontario Masters Fastball Hall of Fame will hold their induction ceremony during the OASA Masters Championship.
