A full 16-team field will be battling for a coveted paid berth + travel money for the 2014 ISC World Tournament this weekend June 13-15 in Mitchell for the annual ISC Canada East Qualifier tournament.

All the action will be at Keterson Park, located at the Mitchell Arena & Community Centre, 185 Wellington St., Mitchell, ON N0K1N0.

Play commences Friday at 6:30 pm, re-starts Saturday at 8:30 am and will culminate with a 2:30 pm single championship game on Sunday.

We expect to have a full stats package for the tournament, courtesy of ISC Statistician Gary Baughman.

In addition, the ISC Network broadcast team will be on hand to cover three games on Sunday, including the Winners Bracket Final at 10:30 am, the Losers Bracket Final at 12:30 pm and the Championship Game at 2:30 pm.

As an added attraction, the ISC Canada East U21 Championship goes at the same time and place. Eight of the top U21 (Junior Men's) teams will play for a paid berth in the ISC U21 Developmental Championship in Kitchener in August.

The U21 schedule opens with two games in Monkton on Friday night featuring New Dundee Jrs vs Stratford/Sebringville at 7 pm then St. Mary's Steelworkers Jrs vs Tavistock Merchants before the action moves to Keterson Park in Mitchell for Saturday and Sunday. The U21 Championship goes at 12:30 pm.
