                                                On this wonderful Sunday June the 15th , I would like to wish all the fathers ,wives of fathers and soon to be fathers a very happy FATHER’S DAY . I hope you’ve had an enjoyable day . Games from the Quentin Seeley Fastball League continue on Monday , June the 16th at the Rick McDonalds Memorial Sports Complex in Azilda (suburb of Greater Sudbury ). In the opener at 7pm , the Garson Hounds take on the Dog House Eatery and Sports bar while in the nightcap starting at 9 pm , the North Stars clash against the Panthers ..
                                                  Fastball will get very busy later this month , in July ,August and finishing in September .Here are three main tournaments coming up that you should come and see

                      1. The 5th Annual Brad Rienguette Memorial Tournament ( formerly known as the Northern Ontario Fastball Championship ) on the weekend of July 26 and 27 in Azilda .Your contacts for further information are Dan Quesnel ( quazzycer@hotmail.com ) or Roger Legendre at ( roger.legendre@hotmail.com)
                       2. The Annual All Ontario Native Tournament for men’s open ,seniors and ladies ..This year Parry Island community will be the hosts .It will be held on August 23rd        , 24th and 25th .
                        3. A second major classic tournament to close the Summer will be the 26th Annual Seniors Fastball Tournament .The tournament after being held in North Bay for the past 27 years comes to Sudbury and actually in the community of Azilda . It will be played on the Labor Day Weekend August 30 , 31st and September the 1st .                                 Be aware that teams as far as New Zealand , Argentina , Puerto Rico and many other teams from out of the country have attended . It is a prestigious tournament .
                               I will be head scorer , statistician and public relation liaison for all three tournaments . I will soon putting a web site for our league where players and fans will catch league standings , stories , tournament results and a photo gallery . I will soon make an official announcement when its up and going and how you can get on it . Just new excitement for the league .
