DeKalb Hustle Hogs Results From Clinotn, Wisconsin

The DeKalb Hustle Hogs won their first tournament of the year in Clinton, Wisconsin this past weekend. This marks the team's third championship in five years in Clinton, WI. The Hogs improved to 21-7 on the young season.  Blain Nicholson went 4-1 and Aaron Leahy went 1-0.
Leading the way offensively for the Hogs were Lewis Weldon 11x19 (.579), Tom Crouch 9x16 (.562) and Matt Smith 10x21 (.476).

Hogs could not hold down the Earl's Club offense even after scoring 8 runs.

Lewis Weldon doubled home Tom Crouch and then scored on an Aaron Leahy walk-off single in the bottom of the 8th for the win.

A Lewis Weldon 320 ft bomb in the first sparked the Hogs as they cruised to the win.

Timely hitting and a couple of great defensive plays by the Hog infield helped with the win.

The Hogs scored four in teh first an d then mirrored that score in the second to secure the lead. Nicholson threw great getting the win.
