               THE RACE TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP
Â
As the 2014 season ending playoffs approach , I’ve decided to give my analysis . First there will be a double round robin among all teams to determine the #1 to #4 seed .In the second round , it will be the page playoff : 1st VS 2nd ,3rd Vs 4th .The winner of 3-4 plays the loser of 3-4 in a single game semi final .he winner of the semi takes on the winner of 1-2 in a best of 3 final championship.
Here is my analysis . The North Stars are strong both defensively and offensively and therefore must be considered the favorites to win their 7th strait league championship . The second place Garson Hounds have come on strong in the second half with their bats and would certainly give the Stars a run for their money . The Panthers have had an up and down season and with their pitching suspect at the moment they will struggle in the first round ..The Dog House in last place all season have done much better in the last 7 games with 3 victories and could well be a wild card of surprise . In the first round the standings as they finished the regular season should be the same with the exception of first where the Hounds might get there with their three pitchers while the Stars are stuck with only one chucker ( the other one injured and probably done for the season ). Third and fourth seeded might flip flop.
In the page playoff , I see this way : Hounds defeat the Stars in the 1-2 page ..Dog House surprise the Panthers in the 3-4 page .In the semi , the Stars defeat the Dog House .In the championship best of 3 between the North Stars and the Garson Hounds , it’s a coin toss .
Here are the final list of all stars for the 2014 season:
