How to keep track of the results from the 2014 ISC World Tournament in Kitchener, ON August 8 to 16, 2014
First off, the easiest and by far the best way to keep track of what is going on at this tournament is a personal visit to Kitchener, Ontario for the duration! Both Peter Hallman Ballyard (PHB) and Budd Park are outstanding facilities and each will have a lot of great fastball on tap.
I have had the pleasure of working with the organizing committee and volunteers who will be at the parks to make sure everything is running smoothly and can attest to the fact that they always do an outstanding job of it.
Top off the hospitality with great food choices at the park and you cannot go wrong.
So, O.K. you have to work this week, or your back home in Nova Scotia, British Columbia, California, New York, Sydney Australia, Wellington New Zealand, Prague CZ or Parana, Argentina and you want to follow your favorite team or player, we have a thing for that, the internet.
All the results will be posted to the ISC website at:
 http://www.iscfastpitch.com/tournaments/2014-world-tournament.html
Â
This site has all the brackets and all the Schedule and Result pages which through the week will be updated as soon as we receive the scores and statistics from each completed game.
Â
Follow the live games by watching them free on the ISC Network, look for the logo on the ISC page
The scores and results are all posted to the ISC website. We do not post this on http://www.alsfastball.com
http://www.alsfastball.com will re post any interesting press releases and news stories from the media and elsewhere we pick up during the week. We also re post each Twitter post we create or RT (see the lower left hand side of the page)
Â
But the main results are all going to be on:

There will be tidbits of information all week shared on Twitter – follow us at:

Â
We no longer send out results by email, we stopped that in the fall of 2012
The reasons, after the September 11 world wide hacker attack, where thousands of websites were compromised, we did a security audit and found the mailer software is the most vunerable component of the whole operation. Following next was Canada’s new Anti Spam Legislation, coming into effect 1 July 2014.
It simply made no sense carrying on a very labour intensive process of maintining email lists of followers so we let everyone know we were moving to other ways to keep fastball fans informed.
Our main way to keep people informed about the ISC specifically and Fastball in general is through two web sites:
http://www.iscfastpitch.com/ and   http://www.alsfastball.com/
If you look at each site, in the upper left corner of the page you will see News Items followed by XML which is RSS.
Those XML links will enable those who like to be sent news stories directly to have them all fed directly into their news reader. See http://www.iscfastpitch.com/index.php?page=134 and http://www.alsfastball.com/index.php?page=124Â to subscribe to the respective news feeds.
What is RSS?
RSS (or Really Simple Syndication) feeds are free content feeds from Web sites, including alsfastball.com, that contain article headlines, summaries and links back to full-text articles on the web.

Have a Fantastic Week of #Fastball at #ISC2014
