I am pleased to announce plans for the 2015 Schaefer & Bierlein
Invitational men's fastpitch softball tournament. This year's
tournament will be held July 10-12th in Frankenmuth's Heritage Park.
Last year, DC Outlaws (Elkhart, IN) defeated the As (Reese, MI) to
earn the championship.
This year, we are keeping the same format, 3-game round robin followed
by an 8-team A playoff bracket and 4-team B and C playoff brackets.
However, we will raise the classification slightly to allow all
non-Open/Major level pitchers and teams to participate. Teams have
the choice to play 3 round robin games on Saturday or 1 Friday plus 2
Saturday.

Classification: ASA Class A-B-C (or similar)

Cost: $425 ($400 if paid by June 10th)

Frankenmuth is a great place to visit throughout the year. Please
check out www.frankenmuth.org for tourist information. The Bavarian
Inn Lodge Resort (adjacent to the softball diamonds) has undergone
significant renovations over the last 2 years to add an indoor
waterpark. As many visiting teams know, the Lodge is an excellent
place to stay with both ground level walk-out rooms as well as 3rd and
4th floor balcony rooms over-looking the main field.
