INVITE TO THE WORLD SERIES ALL STARS EXHIBITION FASTPITCH SOFTBALL MATCH: MAY 16, VICTORIA POINT
Â
Â
Dear Fastpitch Fan
Â
As the three of us prepare to represent Australia at the International Softball Federation's 14th Men's World Championship in Saskatoon, Canada, we are pleased to invite you to attend the World Series All Stars Exhibition Fastpitch Softball Match on May 16 at the Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club: 325 Colburn Avenue, Victoria Point.
Â
The afternoon will begin at 3:00pm with a free “Aussie Steelers Coaching Clinic†available for all juniors to attend! The clinics will provide an opportunity for us to provide our tips and share some experiences directly to the next generation of ball players.
Â
There will also be a “Blues Masterclass†commencing at 3:00pm where ISF Level Umpire Darren Sibraa, who will also be representing Australia at the ISF World Championship in Canada, will be providing both theory and practical insights in to the art of umpiring for all interested attendees.
Â
At 4:45pm we will commence the “Fastpitch Skills Challenges†where we will be competing against some local legends to see who can run the fastest, pitch the quickest, and hit the furthest- no doubts there will be a few people wanting to beat an Aussie Steeler!
Â
Next the tee-ballers will be getting out and having a hit as the curtain raiser to the main game between the “World Series All Stars†and the “South East Queensland Invitational Team†which will commence at 6:30pm. There will be some world class softball talent on display and this will provide an opportunity for us to get some valuable game time under our belt before we head to the World Championships in June.
Â
As you can see there is something for everyone and there will be plenty of tasty food and drinks available. We would love to see a bumper crowd farewell us on our bid for World Championship glory!
Â
We look forward to seeing you there!
Â
