So Cal Bombers re-sign Chad Ghostkeeper

The So Cal Bombers are pleased to announce that they have re-signed Chad Ghostkeeper for the 2007 season. Chad returns after a huge season for the Bombers in 2006 and solidifies the Bombers once again in their move toward the ISC WT.

Chad played for both the Bombers (ISC) and the Prince George Black Bears for Canadian Nationals in 2006. At the Canadian Nationals, Chad hit .478 with 5 HR’s and was recently named British Columbia’s Male Athlete of the Year.

Head Coach Kelly McGiffin said Ghostkeeper’s return is a big signing.

Chad Ghostkeeper is simply one of the best players in the game and to have him return is great news for the Bombers. 2006 was the first year that I had a chance to work with Chad and get to know him. He is a very professional player with nerves of steel and tremendous talent. He can hit for average and power, and is a very good defensive catcher that is alert at all times. The Bombers are very lucky to have this guy and I am very glad to have him back in the lineup. He makes things go and is a clutch RBI guy.”

Ghostkeeper’s return means he and Box will again share catching duties and like Box, Chad is a gifted athlete that was able to play multiple positions for the Bomber is 2006, giving them great flexibility.

The Bomber’s ownership and players welcome Chad back and look forward to another strong season with the Bombers.
