"In a merciful move to end the Fargo Knights, confusion, the IS Knights will be changing their name to the MinnDak Millers beginning with the 2006 season.
The team began in 1982 under the sponsorship of the Fargo Knights of Columbus. It then changed through the years, adding additional sponsors and being know as the DMS (Diagnostic Medical Solutions) Knights and then the IS (Imaging Solutions) Knights.
But almost a quarter century later, the Fargo KC Club will be closing it's doors. Although we do not know if it is forever, it is time to publicly say "Thank You" for all you have done for our softball team and and for fastpitch softball.
We would also like to thank Mike Hofer, who with DMS and IS, helped provide the funds to be able to compete against the World's best!
However, there always comes a time for all good things to end. Out with the old and in with the new. Thus, giving birth to the MinnDak Millers!
So anyone printing programs, making up tournament boards, or just reading on an Internet forum, there will be no more Fargo Knight confusion, because now it's MILLER TIME in MinnDak!"
