This tournament started in 1988 I believe and then was called the Baltimore Classic.
Some big names have played here,  Todd Martin when he was a junior,Peter Landers, Darren Zack, Randy Peck, Robbie O'Brian, and many many others.

It was always played on Fathers day weekend in Baltimore until the ISC decided they wanted that weekend  for the Qualifier so we changed to the weekend before and it has been that way since.
The Name was changed in the 13th year as Jim Bradford a level 5 umpire passed so I decided to
call it the Jim Bradford Classic. Jim was from Baltimore. He was a mentor to me and many umpires around Ontario. Many umpires were asked by Jim to come and work this tournament
such as Bruce Bierman  UIC  ISC Worlds., Don Bracey, George Findley, Doug Cundall  DUIC Canada
and so many others.

A few  years ago I was asked to change the name again, a very hard worker again from Baltimore Neil Cane passed - He was always helping with this tournament since it started.
He was always ready to help anyone in need. For years he worked at the arena in Baltimore and looked after the diamonds. He helped in Grafton and also Cobourg.  Very well known in this area. He loved ball.
So the name changed to the Bradford/Cane invitational

After 16 years in Baltimore we changed venue to Grafton because it was hard to get enough help however the same happened in Grafton so after 4 years there we went to Cobourg and Minor Ball stepped up. As with all three centers, all monies raised went to minor ball and still does.
