For the 9th year in a row, there will be a Special Olympics/ISC exhibition game held during the World Tournament.  This year, the ISC stars will be taking on a local team from the Quad Cities area, and as in years past, I'm sure the ISC players will be taught a lesson on the ballfield.

 

The game will be on Wednesday (8/17/2016) at 5:00 p.m. on Diamond #8 at the Greenvalley Complex.

Cody Skelton of the Toronto Batmen will be coordinating the event this year.  He'll be recruiting players and gathering souvenirs from ISC teams - hats and t-shirts work the best.  If you've got something to donate to the event, please leave them at the Game Controller tent at the fields, or get them to Cody.

 

The more players, teams, umpires, fans that come out make it a great event for everyone.  Fill the field with ISC players and the Special Olympics players will have the time of their lives!

 

As always, I appreicate the support the players and teams gives to this, and I hope there are new people getting involved - you'll never be disappointed in the experience.
