Nobody has yet to score a run on Adam Folkard and the Hill United Chiefs after three games at the International Softball Congress World Tournament.
Beginning the tournament in Moline, IL with a no-hitter, followed up by a one-hit performance, Folkard was back at it Wednesday, allowing only one hit, while striking out 11, as the Chiefs rolled over Circle Tap, from Denmark, WI.
While the Aussie pitcher continued his dominance, the Chiefs bats kept coming. Brad Ezekiel led off the first inning with a solo homerun, before Mark Johnson smacked a bases-loaded double that cleared the bases. Joel Southam then scored Johnson on a double of his own.
The Chiefs added another run in the second when Jason Sanford led off with a homer, before the three-time defending world champs scored four more runs in the fourth inning to force the mercy rule.
In that final inning, Nick Shailes and Jason Hill hit solo homeruns, while James Todhunter doubled in Johnson, with Sanford singling in Todhunter a couple of batters later.
The Chiefs are now at 3-0 and face the Scarborough Force at 9 p.m. EST. You can watch the game live at
