This post is to inform those in the ISC II world, and many who are familiar with the old team name Don's, that Richwrap fastpitch team from Elburn, Illinois is not going to play next year (2007).

 

Richwrap has a long and distinguished life of being a very competitive team,  keeping the spirit of the game always at hand. There has been many, many players through the more than forty years of existence that have graced the field in a Don's/Richwrap uniform. I have personally been involved with the team on and off since 1976. I have played with some great players and friends and really hate to call it an end but without sponsorship it is just not possible to continue.

 

We played last year without a sponsor but each guy kicked in and we put together a year. The team decided to move into another direction and you will be seeing members on other teams in northern Illinois like Blackhawk, Creative DJ's, and others who can use them.

 

We wish to thank you all for the opportunity to play against you and it has been a great run.
