Lords split opening exhibition games with Herkimer
HERKIMER, N.Y. - The Durham College women's softball team have started to shake their preseason rust after earning a split in their doubleheader today against the Herkimer Generals.

At the plate MacCallum was 2-for-3 alongside, Rebecca Ropp, Melissa McKnight and Ashley Black to lead Durham.
Pesonen started the second game, leaving after four innings with the game tied 1-1. Black came in to relieve Pesonen, but after a few errors the Lords found themselves down 5-1 after five. The Generals went on to win 8-3.
