2017 Castro Concrete Jokers 21st Annual Fastpitch Softball Tournament Austin, Texas

Hello Fastball Friends and Family. My name is John Limon Jr. I’m a second generation Fastball player and the son of a Rusk A.C. Latin American Hall of famer “Big” John Limon.  I’ve been a member of Austin’s and one of The Great State of Texas oldest Fastball franchise “The Castro Concrete Jokers” for over 30 years. The Jokers were founded in 1961 and I’m proud to say my Father was an Original Joker.

 

For the past Twenty One years I’ve had the pleasure of hosting and directing “The Castro Concrete Jokers Men’s Memorial Weekend Fastpitch Softball Tournament”.  We’ve been very fortunate to have had some of the best Teams from Texas, Kansas, Mexico and Oklahoma come play in our Tournament. We’ve also been very fortunate to have had Great players from all over the United States, Argentina, Canada, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and The Czech Republic. 

 

I feel our Tournament is unique in the way we have had all levels of teams playing in our Tournament. Local Teams, Travel Teams, Top Level Teams and Masters Teams. I feel this has been the reason for all our years of success along with our good Ole Texas hospitality. We make every effort possible to assure your team and your family a wonderful weekend of softball.

We are also hoping to have our 2^nd Annual Viejitos game on Saturday evening. Last year’s game was a great success with Joker Old timers and other Austin Legends.
