Hi Parents:

You have signed your 2013 birth year child up for softball in Fitzroy. Generally, we don't take kids in the Learn to Play program until they are school-aged (i.e. 2012 birth years at the youngest for this season). Not all kids are ready for organized team sports as pre-schoolers, but some are.

However, given the interest, I am willing to try to put together a program just for kids born in 2013, so they can have fun learning the fundamentals of the game as a group in the same age cohort. That of course will require parental involvement. We will need at least one (preferably two) parents to step up and lead the program. We have a two hour coaches' training session available in Carp on the evening of April 26.

Please let me know if you can help out to lead this group so we can make this happen.
