Team Ontario defeated Cobourg Dirt Road Gang 8-7 after being behind 7-0 after 2 innings.
Team Ontario played together for the first time as a team, a great sign as they begin their journey to defend the gold medal at the Canada Summer Games in Brandon, Manitoba.Â
The last time male softball was in Canada Games was 2005, we defeated BC 7-6 in extra innings.

3 teams were tied in each division so we went to runs for and against in one division while the other had to go back to head to head....the first time I recall this happening.

The final will be at 12 pm.

Cobourg dirt road beat napanee 8-2 in one semi final.
Toronto batman won 5-3 over durham diamondbacks in the other one.

In the final , Toronto batman defeated Cobourg Dirt Road company 7-0.Â

Toronto batman won the Blake Construction Services trophy while Cobourg Dirt Road Company won the Sine and Son Carpet runner up trophy. Â The ground crew did an excellent job, many thanks to all the volunteers, Bartenders and score keepers. Â Â

Local native John Coyle who won 50/50 donated 100.00 to Legion Minor Softball and Bob Currie Auto Sales also made donation to Cobourg legion softball.Â
