ACES WIN AT HOME 

 

 

Bryan Johnson took the hill for the Aces and Tyson Haggith for the Astros. The Astros got things started in the 2nd inning when Derek Shaw reached with a double to the gap. Advanced to 3rd and then scored on 2 wild pitches. 

 

The Aces countered right back in the bottom half when Calvin Ritchie walked. Zakk Gurchin then singled while advancing Ritchie to 3rd. Then stepped up Harley Thorp who crushed a 3 run home run. 

 

The Aces scored again in the 4th when Ritchie single who eventually scored on a RBI by Andy Triest. 

 

In the 5th inning Rowan Lam hit a solo Home Run for the Aces.  Aaron Stocking scored in the 6th inning  after singling , he was driven  in  by  Harley Thorpe with his 4th RBI of the game. 

 

The Aces took the hard fought game 6-1 vs the Young Astros. Tyson Haggith took the loss, but pitched well. Bryan Johnson took the win, while Taylor Degraw pitched 2 strong innings out of the pen.
