OKLAHOMA CITY -- USA Softball, the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States, seeks applicants for the position of Managing Director of Marketing. This individual’s primary responsibility will be the marketing, promotion, and execution of all sponsorship and licensing sales for USA Softball.

This position is located at the historic USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex in Oklahoma City, is full-time and includes a benefits package.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
·       Responsible for selling all USA Softball and Hall of Fame Complex-controlled partnership assets through sponsorships, licensing and supplier opportunities.
·       Maximize revenue opportunities by researching and exploring all sponsorship inventories.
·       Identify potential partners and develop relationships with key decision-makers to sell sponsorship opportunities.
·       Preparation and presentation of customized sales materials in person or over the phone leading to comprehensive needs analyses to gain further understanding of the prospects’ goals and objectives.
·       Assist in the coordination of contract negotiations and renegotiations for new and current partners.
·       Develop and supervise fulfillment processes to ensure deliverables, compliance and review performance.
·       Responsible for financial collection for current and new accounts.
·       Maintain and report weekly sales and/or prospecting activity.
·       Sell licensing rights of USA Softball-owned marks and track minimum guarantees and royalties.
·       Track and maintain spreadsheet of licensed vendors, minimum guarantees and royalty reports.
·       Maintain spreadsheet of National Team athletes’ equipment needs and coordinate with licensed suppliers.
·       Other duties as assigned pertinent to the successful execution of sales and other marketing initiatives.
