Research on (Field) Hockey Training

You may ask "What does this have to do with Fastball?

Well, not really very much however it was fastball, or the lack of it at the 2015 Pan Am Games outside Toronto that attracked them to contact us.

You may sadly remember that after winning Gold in Saskatoon in the summer of 2015, the show moved to Toronto for the Pan Ams. Unlike Saskatoon, who did a Simply Outstanding job of covering the WBSC Men's Championship, Toronto totally dropped the ball and had next to nothing in the way of coverage. No TV, no streaming, they even declined our offer to use AlsFastball.com and @AlsFastball to provide some onsite coverage.  It was a sad day in our sport.

THE STORY:

Coverage of Softball at Pan Am Games (Or Lack Of It)

So thanks to the Field Hockey folks for reaching out to us and sharing this gem for our readers to enjoy and to share:

I just finished writing a guide that is even more detailed, updated and comprehensive - it is a multi-page guide on field hockey training written by Nick Catlin, a two-time field hockey Olympian. It is packed with practical tips and advice (including videos), and completely free. You can find it here: https://www.sport-fitness-advisor.com/hockey-training.html
