The Circle Tap Dukes of Denmark captured the LaCrosse Classic Men’s Fastpitch tournament over the weekend.

In game 1 The Dukes defeated The Bar Buzz of Appleton 5-0.  Tyler Dudley 2x3 HR 2B, 2 rbi. Tom Crouch 2x3, RBI. Guillermo Patat RBI , Zane Vanlieshout 2x3.

In game 3 CT beat LaCrosse 11-2.  Tyler Dudley 2x3 with a 3 run homer. Federico Eder with a walk off grand slam in the 5th. Zane Vanlieshout double. Daniel Dalton 2 rbi single.

The Dukes earned the top seed of the singled elimination tournament on Sunday by going 3-0 in pool play.

 

In the semi-finals the Circle Tap Dukes defeated the Ostrander, MN Norsemen 9-2.  Daniel Dalton led the charge with a two run and a three run home run.  Leo Latasa chipped in a 2 rbi single.  Guillermo Patat had an rbi double and Tom Crouch had an RBI single.

In the championship game The Dukes defeated the Kansas City Monarchs 6-2.  Roman Godoy earned the win going the distance allowing 3 hits and striking out 10.  He also had an RBI triple.  Tom Crouch was 2x4 with 2 RBI and Tyler Dudley had a two RBI double.  Guillermo Patat was 2x3 and Federico Eder and Matt Ratliff each had doubles.

The fifth ranked Dukes are now 5-0 on the season and will travel to Pontiac, IL next weekend for the Midsummer Classic
