Vasey, ON - - SRFL wraps up Regular Season
The Simcoe Rural Fastball League completed their regular season this past Thursday with teams jockeying for position right to the end. Minesing had a terrific season, finishing in first place without a loss. Back-to-back ties in the middle of the season were the only blemish on Minesing's regular season record at 17-0-2. Vasey, Waubaushene & Wyevale battled all year long for next spot, before Vasey finally clinched 2nd place on the last day of the season.

Playoffs will begin this week, with some tricky scheduling to keep things on track while many players head to ISCs for various teams the following week. Full first round schedule will be on the league website ( www.srfl.ca) shortly. Vasey will be defending their title, after defeating Minesing in last years finals.Â
