Laurier Softball Announces 2018 Tryouts

WATERLOO, Ont. (August 22, 2018) - The Wilfrid Laurier women's softball team will be hosting open tryouts for Laurier students interested in making the 2018 roster. The softball program at Laurier will look to improve on their silver medal finish at the Ontario Championships hosted by Laurier last fall. The Golden Hawks have captured three of the last four Ontario silver medals and have five provincial medals to along with two national medals in the program's history.

Interested athletes for the 2018 season are asked to contact Head Coach, Matt Allen at womensfastpitchclub@laurierathletics.com before tryouts begin.

Monday, September 3rd - 12:00-2:00 pm
Tuesday, September 4th - 5:30-7:30pm  
Thursday , September 6th - exhibition game vs Conestoga College (5:00 PM)

All tryout sessions will be held at Waterloo Park (Diamond 3 – diamond closest to zoo and behind University Stadium - if you are walking from campus, it is off Seagram on other side of Waterloo College Hall residence). Tryout fees will be $10 per player.
