Due to several inquiries about the Red Rock All Tournament team, I offer the following explanation.
The selection of the All Tournament Team in Red Rock has always been a team choice. Due to inadequate scoring provided in St. George, it is impossible to develop meaningful, accurate statistics from which to name an All Tournament Team.
Because of this, the top 4 teams are allowed to name their players they feel are worthy of the honor. The championship team names 5, the runner up names 4 and the two third place teams name 3 each.
Unfortunately, Patsy's not only chose to not name any of their players, they also failed to pick up their 3rd place trophy. This is after their sponsor assured me he would provide names and pick up their trophy.
This is why the Red Rock All Tournament Team has no Patsy's players and there are only 12 All Tournament Team members rather than the customary 15.
