The Alvinston Aces travelled to Chippewa on Wednesday evening, for game 1 of their semi-final best 3 of 5 series against the Chippewa Chiefs.Â

Alvinston had their bats ready on this night, as Bryan Johnson hit a lead off homerun, and 2 run homerun in the top of the 6th inning, while teammate Harley Thorp hit a 2 run bomb in third inning. Kevin Morgan was 3/3 for Alvinston, with 2 runs scored, 2 doubles and an RBI, while Andy Triest and Bryan Johnson were both 2/3 in the contest. Â
