The OIWFA is pleased to announce Sarah Cvetkovski of the Queen's Gaels and Bella Kennedy of the Western Mustangs as the week 3 Athlete's of the Week.

 

Cvetkovski was 1-0 on the mound for the Gaels with 3 Strikeouts, 0 ER. She helped her team on the offensive side of the game with a .429 average which included 6 hits - 1 single, 1 double, 3 triples, 1 home run, 9 RBI’s and 5 runs scored. Sarah also played exceptional defense with 7 putouts and 4 assists.

 

Kennedy, the Mustangs starting shortstop went 13 for 19 at the plate (batting average = 0.684), over this past weekend with 4 singles, 5 doubles, 3 triples, and 1 HR, recorded 12 RBI, and scored 14 runs.The junior English major, from Brentwood Bay, Vancouver Island led the Mustangs to 6 wins, 0 losses in OIWFA action.
